I redid the previous animation with some sizable changes. Firstly, I modified the caustic pattern that was generated so that light refracts more inside the object. I also sped up the rate of perlin wave motion through the object to create something with a bit more dynamism. I also got rid of the noise map on the ground plane and I think the result is much better now.
In the previous animation, I’d keyframed the camera motion in 3ds Max, but this time I was able to generate the motion path in grasshopper which allowed more control of it.
