Perlin Noise Animation

I decided to also redo the perlin noise animation that I did a while ago seeing as the renders that I did earlier worked out rather well. I wanted the object the impression of movement as the perlin wave moved through it, so I thought this could be achieved by using a noise map on the ground plane as a means to show this motion, however I don’t think it worked as well as I thought it would, and it also takes away from the purity of the caustic patterns that were generated on the plane. I will revisit some of these issues later on.

The entire animation took approximately 150 hours to render.
