This model, albeit rather simple was a test for a more complex grasshopper function, this model used path masks as a form generator. Path masks are a method of data tree manipulation, they allow you to create links between different members of your tree structure which otherwise would be rather difficult, or at least require a method I am unfamiliar with. So I wanted to create a looping structure by creating cycles through each and every data point in the tree, which ultimately resulted in this cage structure.
Also another thing that’s interested me as of late is creating renders with restricted use of material, and mainly using lighting to set up whatever condition is required. By not running a global illumination pass, we get the drastic difference in colour value, and far less taxing on the CPU.
