Animating with Python

Continuing with the same idea in my previous post, this is a short animation produced using a very similar script, except that the polylines of the base geometry used to construct this model now revolve around their own axis, creating a somewhat chaotic motion. Towards the middle of the animation, the shape gets very chaotic, in order to resolve this, in future I may consider a method of sorts to control the rotation at the end of the spline, as well as increasing the number of interpolation frames.

I like the moments in this animation where the morphing begins to slow down, and it begins to look intentional, it’s a nice reminder that chaos is only temporary.
